Claudexra is a web-based market intelligence platform for freelancers, operated by IOTA Solutions. When we say "Claudexra", "we", "us", or "our", we mean the operator of this service.

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect when you use claudexra.com, how we use it, who we share it with, and what rights you have.

We collect the following categories of data:

• Email address (used for authentication)
• Encrypted password (stored and managed by Supabase — we never see your plaintext password)
• Account creation timestamp

• Name, email address, and message content you submit via our contact form
• Stored in our database for support purposes

• Pages visited, time on site, referral source (via Google Analytics)
• Aggregated, anonymized behavioral data for product improvement
• IP address and device/browser information (via Vercel infrastructure)

We use your data only for the following purposes:

• To provide and maintain the Claudexra service (account access, compare, optimize features)
• To respond to support enquiries submitted via the contact form
• To understand how users interact with the platform and improve it
• To send transactional emails (password resets, security alerts) — no marketing emails without your explicit consent
• To detect and prevent fraud or abuse

If you are located in the European Economic Area, our legal bases for processing your data are:

• Contract performance — processing necessary to provide the service you signed up for
• Legitimate interests — analytics and security monitoring to improve and protect the platform
• Consent — analytics cookies (Google Analytics); you may withdraw consent at any time via our cookie banner

We share data with the following sub-processors:

• Supabase — authentication and database hosting (data processed in the EU/US)
• Google Analytics — usage analytics (data processed in the US; only active with your cookie consent)
• Vercel — hosting and edge infrastructure (data processed in the US)

We do not sell your personal data to any third party.

• Account data — retained for as long as your account exists; deleted within 30 days of account deletion
• Contact form submissions — retained for up to 12 months, then deleted
• Analytics data — retained according to Google Analytics default retention settings (14 months)

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data
• Erasure — request deletion of your account and personal data
• Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
• Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests
• Withdraw consent — opt out of analytics cookies at any time via the cookie banner

Claudexra is not directed at children under 13 (or 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
